Brand Identity and dating journal design for couples to create greater intimacy, trust and happiness.

Trish and Jesse Allen are an inspiring couple, who set out on a challenge to go on one date a week for a whole year. The journal began as a Christmas gift Trish gave Jesse several years ago. They had reached the point in their marriage where material gifts were no longer needed or meaningful. The experience helped build greater intimacy, trust and happiness in their marriage.

After they were finished, they had lot’s of questions about how they did it. They created the Dating on Purpose Journal so that others could have similar experiences and a place to document their dates.

The branding for Dating on Purpose is charming, genuine, approachable, simple and fun. Together we explored several different styles, colors and layouts. The branding elements were finalized and brand guidelines were created to maintain consistency.

The brand elements were expanded into the journal design, date night category icons, and social media templates and a website. The templates were created in Canva so the clients can easily edit and create more as needed.

We also created a thank you card to send out with the journal after purchase. The clients have plans to expand and create additional dating materials. Stay tuned!
